David C Little, Photographer
Over the last 25 years, David C Little has been capturing the world through his camera's lens with passion and enthusiasm. David has traveled throughout the United States and Canada focusing his art on landscape and nature photography. His educational background in geology and planetary science gives David a unique perspective to depict the world around him with not only an artistic, but scientific eye.
David spent 10 years working as a portrait, architectural, and landscape photographer for the Henry Buhl Jr. Planetarium & Observatory and Carnegie Mellon University in Pittsburgh , Pennsylvania . He also completed productions in computer animations and graphic design for both institutions. Recognized by Adobe Photoshop as a Photoshop expert, David uses the most modern digital technology to enhance his craft.
David received the title National Photographer Laureate by the Photographers' Workshop for his outstanding work in photography and writes as an expert reviewer for their website. BetterPhoto.com honored David as a finalist in 2005 during their annual competition. Also in 2005, David was a semifinalist and honored with photo of the month in the nature category for Japan 's Photography Unlimited contest. David recently studied with Bruce Dale, formerly of “National Geographic”, during a workshop in Los Angeles and continually strives to refine his talent through educational experiences.
David C Little's published work is contained in national and international competitions, Endless Horizon's , the National Flag Foundation's 2007 calendar, and various other publications through associations in the Pittsburgh area. David currently resides in Henderson , Nevada and offers his prints for purchase through galleries as well as his web site.
